The idea that led to the establishment of Artists Circle under the voluntary organization, the Artists Welfare Trust, is an ambitious one. It is not merely a gallery which display and sell art works, it aims to promote and showcase contemporary art in India and abroad by supporting the work of established artists and identify youth who show promise. Efforts are made to bring contemporary Indian art to the attention of the world of art and culture in a balanced and coherent manner.
Artists Circle under the aegis of Artist Welfare Trust, an NGO, established since 2003, dedicated to serve artists and artisans of all genre, to establish themselves, and to provide them support in terms of creative input, marketing sustainability, and giving them medical support in times of need, and scholarships to deserving candidates.
